Code of Ethics

The RCFE Association holds its members to the following commitments that reflect our responsibility to the industry, our customers, our community and this association. Members will promise to:

Conduct honest and ethical business practices by ensuring legal and high-principled business activity.

Support and practice an honorary approach within the industry, following the highest standards of integrity.

Make a genuine effort to collaborate with other Association members to work towards the common goal of advancing and innovating the assisted living industry and the RCFE Association.

Treat all employer(s), employees, associates, competitors, customers, regulatory bodies, the public, and all businesses and professionals with fairness and respect.

Be transparent in advertising and on all other public platforms in which our business, the RCFE Association, and the assisted living home industry are represented.

Engage in best practices and set the highest standards of development in our assisted living homes and affiliated businesses.

Obey every neighborhood, city, county, state and federal law and regulation concerning the assisted living industry.

Members with licensed facilities must provide proof of Workers Compensation and Liability Insurance via Certificate of Insurance.

Act as an exemplary and affirming representative of the RCFE Association, as well as its positions, policies and members. Assist the RCFE Association and the industry by progressing its goals and effecting positive change.

All RCFE Association members are required to adhere to our Code of Ethics. The Code of Ethics is hereby included as part of the membership application. Each member must sign a copy of the Code of Ethics which will be kept on file. Current RCFE members in good standing must also agree to this Code of Ethics by signing a new application when they renew their membership.
