Message from CA Department of Social Services Community Care Licensing Division
The California Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) and Department of Social Services (CDSS) are pleased to announce the release of the Community Care Expansion (CCE) Request for Applications (RFA).
The goal of the CCE program is to provide more residential care settings for vulnerable seniors and adults with disabilities. This includes people experiencing or at risk of homelessness and applicants or recipients of Supplemental Security Income State Supplementary Payment (SSI/SSP) or Cash Assistance Program for Immigrants (CAPI). This program provides a funding opportunity that will support the construction of new, expanded or rehabilitated licensed facilities serving seniors or adults with qualifying disabilities.
